With great pleasure we present our second product TÎAN, which you can now order! TÎAN makes a clear design statement in your room and provides plenty of storage space. The drawer can be opened and also closed just with a simple push thanks to a tip-on system. In addition, TÎAN looks brilliant even when your bike is not hanging on the wall. The recessed protective felt overlay holds your treasured frame securely in place without scratching it, and the simple installation instructions make hanging it on your wall a breeze. To ensure that your front wheel stays in place, we include a practical felt strap with every order. TÎAN is manufactured in a social workshop in Berlin. Meet us at the Designers´ Open 2012 in Leipzig

Our next exhibition is coming soon: We are at the Designers´ Open 2012 in Leipzig from 26th to 28th October 2012. Since the first edition of the fair in 2005, the Designers’ Open has developed into a popular industry hangout. Established designers, young talents and students present and sell their products in the areas of product, fashion and interior design.

The audience consists of design interested people, retailers and journalists – last year more than 12500 visitors attended the fair in Leipzig. Here is a review from last year:

Review of the EUROBIKE 2012

Four days EUROBIKE in Friedrichshafen are behind us! We intentionally went with low expectations to Lake Constance with our new products because we serve a very specific niche. Quality bicycle furniture for the home or office are finally not an everyday product that you can buy for years. Accordingly, we were excited about the feedback of the bicycle industry.

The participation at the EUROBIKE 2012 proved to be a stroke of luck. Besides the great interest of the trade and consumer press, we came with our presence even at dealers on more than positive response.

In addition to our first product Kappo, we presented at our stand, the prototypes of our new bicycle furniture TIÂN and SLÎT. The feedback on both shelves has confirmed that we will start soon the production. Currently, we are still experimenting with different textures and colors but we will of course work with the felt pad. It will take a few weeks until both products are available in our online shop but we will inform you in good time here in the news section and on Facebook and Twitter.

Finally: A big thank to EUROBIKE / Messe Friedrichshafen for the perfect organization, the team of Schindelhauer Bikes for providing the bikes and frames as well as our English neighbors Rapha for the supply of fine coffee!
